Senior Career Development Specialist
The candidate will develop and administer advanced career programming and resources for the students and alumni of a college. Serve as an industry expert in the areas of executive recruitment and organizational management. Develop new internship programs and placement opportunities with local, national and global employers. Develop and implement programming to educate experienced graduate students and alumni about career development and job search activities. Consult with experienced candidates and employers on issues related to career growth and hiring programs; conduct assessments and administers executive coaching to working professionals. Contact potential employers to promote placement activities for the college. Collaborate with executive recruiters to place graduate students and alumni in senior level and executive management roles. Serve as liaison between employers, faculty, administrators and alumni to advance career opportunities. Represent the college to external groups to promote the admissions, alumni relations and placement goals of the college. Manage experienced hire programs for one or more graduate degree programs. Monitor, analyse and report on labor market conditions and emerging technologies to assist in program development. Maintain and analyze data and conducts assessments regarding career services and placement for reporting to the university and the media. Develop training for students inside and outside the classroom to help them build and assess skills related to professional communications and development. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
