Aon is looking for 4 Client Services Interns in the following areas: Accounting, Claims, and Operations! Locations: Bloomington, MN, Atlanta GA As part of an industry-leading team, you will work closely with various teams to provide exceptional customer experience and be a part of the best-in-class client services team in the reinsurance industry. We are looking for a candidate who is excited to support our clients as their dedicated advocate. Our experienced team will also help you build and implement your individual career development plan with dedicated mentors that will assist you along the way.Intern candidates will be considered for post-graduation employment under Aon’s early career development program, known as Launch. The Launch program is a supplemental opportunity for recent college recruits to accelerate their personal and career development at Aon. The Intern positions within Client Services may include some or all of the following job responsibilities: Position Responsibilities for all rolesSupport Client Service Advocates that manage client accounts with anywhere from $1m to over $10m in revenueClient facing roles: interact with the client, broker and client service team members domestically and globallyStrong interpersonal skills, ability to work optimally in a team environment both virtually and in person, and ability to work under tight deadlinesConnect with clients, accounting team, claims team, sales team, and/or other operating units to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide assistanceWork with a team of 98 onshore and 72 offshore (India) colleagues to manage all premium, claims, accounting, collections, collateral and accounts for a team that manages over $20B in reinsurance assets annuallyLearn the unique aspects of reinsuranceAccounting Advocate InternAct as a liaison between the client and Aon regarding accounting issuesReview reinsurance contracts to verify contract terms and accounting structureAssist with updating best practices manualMaintain and update Sharepoint sitesAssist with the management of deposit premium and term adjustments from clientsRequest and monitor ceding company cash as well as receipt of premium and proportional reports for revenue to be recognizedMay assist with premium adjustmentsWork with Lloyds of London on a variety of issues, including collections to ensure payment of balances to the clientReview funds available report each day and assist cash team as needed to disburse ceding company fundsReview accounting journals, track currency conversion rates, research and reconcile accounting information, and help clients follow state insurance regulationsCreate and review internal statistical dataClaim Advocate InternAct as a liaison between the client and Aon regarding Claim issuesProvide support to a Client Advocate on large global account(s)Work with Lloyds of London on a variety of issues, including collections to ensure payment of balances to the clientMaintain and update Sharepoint sitesWork with the client on claim reports that are due or coming due Answer questions from reinsurersLearn the GRIDS system and provide updates as neededMay assist with research for thought leadership articlesOperations Technician Work on a variety of projects, led by a project managerImplement project management skills attainedPrepare Power Point presentations for presentations with clientsRun and analyze various reportsMaintain and update Sharepoint sitesRun SQL reports to support leadership team and/or for the sales team What are we looking for?
