The candidate will be responsible for: Preparing the client though pre-hearing interviews. Case preparation for hearings. Advocating Social Security Disability Claims in front of Administrative Law Judges. Completing post hearing summaries. Prepare post-hearing briefs, letter requests for On the Record (OTR) decision, dire need letters, responses to Consultative Examination (CE) reports and other written submissions required by SSA. Must have Juris Doctorate Degree. Should have accreditation with any State Bar, preferably WA. (Applicant can apply even though they are awaiting bar exam results.) Should have excellent Communication Skills, both written and oral. Familiarity with medical records is helpful.
