The University of New England (UNE) Library Services is seeking an Access Services Librarian to join our collaborative team, coordinating and managing all aspects of our Biddeford Campus Library Information Desk.
This is a full-time, in-person role to begin on or after April 1, 2023. The position is based at the Jack S. Ketchum Library on our Biddeford Campus, working with undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff in Biddeford, Portland, and around the world. The successful candidate will have experience successfully managing customer service- oriented personnel and communicating and collaborating with colleagues on multiple, ongoing projects and responsibilities. Library experience and/or an MLIS are preferred, though a comparable combination of education and experience and a demonstrated willingness and ability to learn quickly will be considered.
This role is part of a team of professionals who work collaboratively within a team-based organizational structure reporting to the Dean of Library Services. The person in this position is an active member of the Library team and UNE community, and works with other units and programs dedicated to student success.
