Description:
This is an exciting chance to be part of a progressive and cutting-edge University in a beautiful location, where you can really make a difference within our Careers Service. This role works within the Employer Engagement Team within the Careers Service which administers and supports year long work placements, internships and events. You will provide support to students through advice appointments, drop-ins, in person, by e-mail, Zoom and telephone. You will maintain accurate records and ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed, liaise with employers and faculty staff to develop and maintain relationships and to support the placement process. You will also support the work of the wider Careers team with the delivery of fairs, conferences, networking events, open days etc. You will need to ensure you maintain your knowledge of current recruitment practices and labour market information. We are looking for a highly motivated, organised individual with experience of working in a supportive customer service role. You will ideally have: excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ICT skills and a commitment to delivering a high quality customer service previous experience of working within both an office administration and front line customer facing role experience of working with customers on a 1-1 basis excellent attention to detail excellent organisational skills an ability to innovate and make improvements to processes Please note - Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for this role.
