This role offers a balanced work schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing attorneys to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The position involves managing client interactions, preparing legal documents, and representing clients during hearings, many of which are conducted remotely.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including motions and client paperwork.
• Attend video and audio hearings related to bankruptcy cases.
• Meet with clients to discuss case details and strategies.
• Travel one to two days a week to South Bend, Indiana, as required.
• Maintain a professional but relaxed approach, with casual attire allowed on non-court days.

Requirements:

• Reliable and professional with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable with technology and virtual hearings.
• Ability to manage client meetings, filings, and hearings effectively.
• Willingness to travel as required by the role.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana or be able to obtain licensure within 12 months.
