A respected law firm is seeking a Of Counsel attorney to join its litigation team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role presents a unique opportunity for an attorney with strong complex commercial litigation experience to become part of a dynamic and tenured team within a growing national platform.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of complex commercial litigation cases in state and federal courts.
• Represent clients in matters related to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and consumer products industries, including claims of personal injury, wrongful death, and consumer fraud.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests, and persuasive motions.
• Take and defend depositions, crafting effective outlines and summaries.
• Conduct legal research and argue motions confidently before courts.
• Manage document production and all phases of discovery.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies through outstanding advocacy skills.
• Attend mediation, prepare mediation briefs, and negotiate favorable resolutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and experts to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Manage caseload, deadlines, and priorities effectively.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in complex commercial and civil litigation.
• Proven track record of success in state and federal court.
• Portable book of business is a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted and in good standing with the Ohio Bar.
